Abbey grew up dancing competitively from ages 3-17 at The Dance Centre in Alpena. After graduating from Rogers City High School in 2012, she spent 6 years serving in the United States Marine Corps. Even while serving around the world, Abbey found dance to be a constant source of joy. She taught dance in San Diego and later traveled to
Abbey grew up dancing competitively from ages 3-17 at The Dance Centre in Alpena. After graduating from Rogers City High School in 2012, she spent 6 years serving in the United States Marine Corps. Even while serving around the world, Abbey found dance to be a constant source of joy. She taught dance in San Diego and later traveled to Kenya where she taught dance at a home for children.
Abbey is a licensed personal trainer and a licensed clinical professional counselor. In 2023, she founded Lakeside Dance Company to share her love of dance with Rogers City. When she's not in the studio, you can probably find Abbey pushing a stroller downtown and chasing after her 4 children!

Ashley is a proud Rogers City native! She danced at The Dance Centre in Alpena from ages 3-18. Later, she danced with Thunder Bay Theatre's Dance Academy. After graduating from Alpena Community College, she went on to attend Central Michigan University where she was a very active member of the Infusion Dance Team for 3 years.

After graduating from Alpena Community College, she went on to attend Central Michigan University where she was a very active member of the Infusion Dance Team for 3 years.
Ashley moved back to Rogers City in 2025 after graduating from CMU. She joined Lakeside Dance Company in 2026 when she began assisting with classes and choreography. She is thrilled to be continuing work with the Lakeside Dance family!

Michelle spent her early years as a gymnast with the South Lyon Gymnastics Team. In high school she was a competitive cheerleader and member of the poms team. In college she went on to join the Grand Valley State University Poms Team.
Michelle later became a youth cheerleading coach and gymnastics instructor. In 2021, she moved to Rogers

Jackie grew up in Rogers City and danced locally for about 4 years. She performed in musical theater throughout high school, and later moved on to directing and choreographing. Jackie grew up in Rogers City and danced locally for about 4 years. She performed in musical theater throughout high school, and later moved on to directing and choreographing. In Sainte Genevieve, Missouri, she assisted in dance classes and helped polish and prepare dancers for competition. At Lakeside Dance company, Jackie has experience leading ninja classes, ballet, tap, musical theater, hip-hop, and jazz. Behind the scenes, she currently handles all of the admin duties at Lakeside Dance Company.

Caroline began dancing at age 2 and hasn't stopped since! She has experience in tap, ballet, pointe, lyrical, contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, and musical theater. She currently competes with Great Lakes Dance Academy in Petoskey.
At Lakeside Dance company, Caroline assists in weekly classes and teaches All Team along with other specialty classes.

Anna danced from the time she was 3 years old and continued all through college. She taught dance during her high school and college years and she has been with Lakeside Dance since 2023.
Anna has experience teaching ballet, tap, jazz, modern, and hip-hop. She currently is a guest teacher and choreographer at Lakeside Dance. Anna is a Nurse Practitioner at Thunder Bay.
